30ft race track with sand, gravel, oil, grease, blocks, inclined surfaces with nails splinters all waiting to destroy the ATVs of the participants, just one problem statement to build up a manually controlled robot capable of running over these hurdles in minimum possible time…that was dirt race…!!!
A total of 22 teams ran their ATVs through the tracks….some got success, few gave up in the middle of the track but for crowd it was like who cares ….their excitement was on high peak to see falling the ATVs from inclined plane or feel the last minute nervousness in the contender’s mind when there was a gap of seconds between the winner and loser…. “The whole track was great but that inclined plane was pain in my eyes all the time and it got my car made me lost the match…but no worries better luck next time…!”Said by a participant. YMCA students hit the list in dirt race ….every hurdle was giving them the way to victory. 1st, 2nd and 3rd all position were secured by YMCA students. |
